Tucked into the Clwydian Range & Dee Valley National Landscape near Rhuallt, this adults-only Certificated Location offers five spacious hardstanding pitches with mountain views that belie its convenient position – the A55 is just five minutes away. Each pitch comes with electric hook-up, grey waste drainage and water connection, neatly separated by hedges for shelter and a sense of seclusion. There's also a motorhome service point and chemical disposal on site.
The Offa's Dyke Path runs directly behind the campsite, making this an ideal base for walkers and their dogs, with 177 miles of trail to explore. The north Wales coast lies about five miles distant, while castles and historic towns dot the surrounding countryside. It's a peaceful, well-kept spot exclusively for Caravan and Motorhome Club members – though with only a handful of pitches, you'll want to book ahead.

Wonderful Site. We were one of the first vistors at newly opened Ty"n Yr Ardd, Rhuallt. Had a truly lovely stay at this peaceful rural site just minutes away from the A55.Large gravel pitches with outstanding panoramic views.Brilliant TV reception. Good variety of walks including the adjacent Offa's Dyke Path.Had an exellent meal at the nearby at the Blue Lion Inn in the village of Cwm. Peter & Joyce. Mal,Teresa and family made us really welcome at their site; nothing too much trouble.Will be visiting again.

This is the best touring site ever, at the “Gateway” to North Wales, we stayed for two weeks and were able to access everywhere we wanted so easily from this central position. Absolutely brilliant for cyclists and anglers with the Rivers Elwy and Clwyd on your doorstep and the world renowned trout reservoir, “Brenig” . The beautiful town of St Asaph is 5 mins away and the walks around the vale of Clwyd are breathtaking ! We’ve stayed at loads of Touring sites and very few compare to this, we won’t be staying anywhere else when we come back to N. Wales, perfect hosts in the owners, we were lucky enough to meet Mally, Teresa and Tasha, beautiful caring people, nothing is too much trouble. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed !

Fantastic location for walking and Mount biking next to Cwm mountain blue lion pub is worth the walk lovely location and food , site is lovely with very large pitches and Fantastic views and the owners are lovely and will nip to say hello and answer any questions

Fantastic little CL. Stunning views all round. Close to the A55 but road noise nominal. We were only ones here. Walks close by are excellent. Pub the Blue Lion 1.4miles walk but lovely food.
