About Premier Inn Jersey St Helier Bath Street

Premier Inn Jersey St Helier Bath Street is a five-floor, 170-room hotel on Merchants Square, built along familiar Premier Inn lines rather than for period charm, and lifted throughout for easy access. It sits within walking distance of St Helier's shops, museums and harbour, making it a practical base for exploring the town without needing a car.

Rooms are straightforward and informal, some fitted with sofabeds for families, and all come with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and free WiFi. Breakfast is served on site, and there's a casual restaurant and bar for evening meals and drinks, with room service available too. Family rooms and accessible rooms are on offer, along with a lift, 24-hour reception and luggage storage for those arriving early or leaving late.

There's no parking at the hotel itself, though chargeable parking is available nearby at Sand Street Car Park, an eleven-minute walk away, and an electric vehicle charge point is on site. The surrounding area suits walkers and cyclists, with golf, fishing and watersports nearby, plus a good spread of pubs, restaurants and entertainment within reach.

It's been a very long time since I last stayed in a Premier Inn, but this place was ideal. On arrival it was an easy, self-service check-in. The room was spacious and made an ideal base for a 3-night stay in Jersey. It's a short walk through the park opposite to the Co-op supermarket (ideal for some evening snacks 😊). Although it's a 15-minute walk to the bus station, it's a pleasant walk through town, so the location of the hotel is fine. I hadn't booked breakfast, but when I saw the menu in the room I realised what I would be missing. You can pay for it just before you go into the breakfast room, and it was very good value for money.

I’m a regular visitor to Jersey, traveling monthly for over 10 years, and for the past couple of years, the Premier Inn on Bath Street has been my go-to. The team here is are always so welcoming, greeting me by name with a genuine smile, even when the reception is busy. A special mention to Alan, who always goes the extra mile to connect with guests, checking in on our day and ensuring we have everything we need. The hotel itself is consistently clean and well-presented. I always opt for the Premier Plus rooms; they are well worth the extra, offering great value for money. The facilities are excellent, including a bar and restaurant serving from breakfast to evening meals, plus a handy lounge with vending machines for out-of-hours needs. The location is ideal - right opposite a park and within easy walking distance of local pubs, restaurants, and convenience stores, with a large supermarket just a 5-minute walk away. Whether you are visiting for business or pleasure, I highly recommend this hotel!

We absolutely love this hotel! We stay in Jersey often when visiting family, and after this trip we honestly wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Premier Inns are always reliable.. clean rooms, comfortable beds, and the breakfast is always 10/10 - but what really sets this hotel apart is the general manager, Alan. He made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived, almost like we were at home rather than in a hotel. Alan greeted everyone by their first name, was unbelievably friendly and kind, and genuinely couldn’t do enough for us. He’s relaxed, easy to talk to, incredibly efficient, and clearly cares so much about his guests and staff. Every hotel needs an Alan! The location is fantastic too.. everything you need is close by, with shops, bus stops, bars and restaurants all within easy reach, making it a perfect base for visiting Jersey. All of the staff were super friendly too, which made the whole atmosphere so warm and welcoming. We honestly can’t thank Alan enough for his hospitality. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Jersey!
