Beautiful views over Stafford from inside and outside of the castle. Inside is very interesting and it's free to enter! Due to its nature/age, the walk up is steep and there are plenty of steps / uneven surfaces, but there are really useful information boards throughout the walk up there and inside the castle. If you are in Stafford it's well worth the walk.

Visited today with my son and daughter and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Special mention to the young man working in the visitor centre, who kindly let my boy hold a sword and provided us with lots of interesting information about the artifacts and castle itself. He really made our visit and was extremely knowledgeable. Thank you
