The former farmland setting means you can step straight into countryside; Dovedale and Manifold valleys are roughly a mile away, and the Tissington and High Peak Trails run nearby. A pub sits within walking distance, and Ashbourne is five miles off.

The cottage holds four people across two bedrooms: downstairs, a twin room with its own shower cubicle and toilet; upstairs, a double with a full bathroom. The ground floor also contains a living room with Freeview television and DVD player, and a kitchen fitted with an electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. Bed linen and Wi-Fi are included, along with heating and electricity. You have private parking for two cars, a bike store, and a garden with patio and sitting-out furniture. One well-behaved dog is welcome.

The layout and facilities suit families or groups of friends wanting a rural base for walking or cycling, with the flexibility of cooking your own meals. The property is non-smoking throughout.
