About Common End Farm
Tucked into 20 acres of pastureland on the southern edge of the Peak District, Common End Farm delivers exactly what its impressive 4.6 rating suggests: immaculate pitches, spotless facilities and sweeping valley views that campers consistently rave about. The converted stone barn houses excellent showers (always warm, say visitors) and separate facilities for men and women, complete with hairdryers and electric sockets. It's a genuinely dog-friendly site with a peaceful, wildlife-rich setting that feels wonderfully remote yet keeps a local pub just 300 metres down the lane.
Walkers have the Peak District's trails on the doorstep, while the friendly owners pack reception with local intel to help you plan days out. Both electric and non-electric grass pitches are available, campfires and barbecues are permitted, and the welcoming atmosphere extends to families, motorcyclists and rally groups alike.

What visitors say
When we arrived we was by a very polite, friendly person who made us feel welcome. We were given plenty of space to set up and was very organised. The other campers where cool peaceful people and the views where great. I will stay here again.

A really cute campsite with great facilities. Toilets were very clean and the views across the site were lovely. Had a nice and peaceful stay, the whole site felt secure and safe. Will definitely revisit.

Excellent campsite. Dog friendly. Good pitches, well maintained and clean facilities, good warm showers. Lovely views across the valley and a pub nearby. Ashbourne just a couple of miles down the road with all the normal town facilities. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Perfect if you are heading to Alton Towers

We had a lovely stay at Common end farm. We loved our introduction to camping and felt like the facilities were clean, and cleaned every day, but perhaps a little small. The chickens free roaming really made us feel apart of the farm, and the staff. WOW! You guys are lovely! The pitches were large, with plenty of room. We loved having our own BBQ’s and fires- however you could hire a fire pit. They were quite expensive, and so was wood, so recommend taking your own. Thank you for our gorgeous stay in pretty field! :-)
