Hollybush Cottage

Hollybush Cottage stands in Denford, a hamlet in the Staffordshire Moorlands where the Caldon Canal runs past the front. The property is your own for the stay, with two bedrooms (one double, one twin), a bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen where you can cook properly. Downstairs there's a living room with an open fire—fuel is included to get you started—and a separate dining space. The enclosed garden and patio are private, with parking on site.

The canal itself is unfenced, so that's something to be aware of if you're visiting with young children. An adventure playground sits about 100 yards away, and fishing is possible on the water if you have a licence. The Hollybush Inn, a country pub, is practically on the doorstep. For days out further afield, Leek is three miles away, and the Peak District National Park is within four miles. Waterworld, Alton Towers, Biddulph Grange Gardens and various museums and steam railways fall within a ten-mile radius. One well-behaved pet can stay here. Smoking is not permitted.
