The Cosy Stable

Staffordshire Moorlands

View on Google Maps

The Cosy Stable is a detached conversion in Grindon, a village in the Staffordshire Moorlands with direct access to some of the region's best walking country. Everything sits on one level: you walk in to an open-plan living and kitchen space, with a bedroom and ensuite off to the side. The layout is unfussy—cooking happens at an electric hob, a combi oven handles roasting and grilling, and a woodburner provides warmth on cooler days. A sofa, a single sofa bed tucked away, and a Smart TV with Netflix access make up the sitting area; a small table seats two at mealtimes.

The bedroom contains a double bed. Bed linen, towels, heating and Wi-Fi are all included. There is parking for one car on site and a patio garden outside, though it is not enclosed. The building sits near All Saints Church and within reach of several local pubs—Butterton, Warslow and Waterfall all have one. The Peak District is nearby for longer explorations. Smoking is not permitted inside.

One dog is welcome to stay free of charge. Check in is after 15:00 and checkout before 10:00.
