Old Court House
Dorset
Old Court House is a fully equipped farmhouse from the late 1600s, built from honey-coloured stone with a thatched roof, standing in Dorset's Sherborne area. The property comes with electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi all included, plus the initial fuel for both wood burners—so you arrive ready to settle in without thinking about utilities.
The layout spreads across two floors with space to spare. Downstairs, there are two living rooms (each with a wood burner and Smart TV), a dining room, and a kitchen fitted with an Aga alongside a dishwasher, fridge, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. French doors open from the kitchen to a patio and back garden. Upstairs, four bedrooms sleep seven: two kings, one double and one single. Both bathrooms have baths, one also has a walk-in shower, and both have heated towel rails. The house comes with a travel cot, highchair and stairgate if needed. Parking for two cars is on site.
The village location puts you within reach of countryside walks, historic houses and the Jurassic Coast. The garden has 6 steps. Smoking is not permitted inside.
