About Whiston Hall Golf Club
Stoke-on-Trent's countryside fringes are home to Whiston Hall Golf Club, a small hotel built around its own golf course on Black Lane in Staffordshire. With just 9 rooms, it has the feel of a quiet retreat rather than a large resort, and the surrounding greenery makes it a natural base for a golfing break or a simple stay away from the city centre.
Rooms come with drinks provided and air conditioning, and the hotel is fitted with a lift for easy access. Guests have use of a restaurant and bar, along with breakfast served on site. Beyond the rooms, the facilities run to an indoor swimming pool, a gym, and a spa and sauna, giving guests plenty of ways to unwind after a round of golf. The property also operates as a wedding venue, and concierge services are on hand for anything guests need arranging.
Free WiFi and free on-site parking are included, making it a straightforward stop for those arriving by car. Paradise Mill offers a nearby point of interest for those wanting to explore beyond the golf course, while Blythe Bridge lies within reasonable driving distance for a wider look at the area.
Guests mention this hotel offers comfortable, clean rooms and delicious food, with breakfast and Sunday lunch being particularly highlighted. They also appreciate the stunning views, friendly and helpful staff, and the convenient location for local attractions.
Some reviews mention the property can be poorly maintained.
