Amazing day out! Organisers are super friendly and helpful (we had a bit of an incident , car keys got lost and my husband had to bring the spare set) both the organisers and the staff from coffee van on the river made sure they were kept safe for us when we returned from canoeing. The actual day out is great, the organisers explain everything , make sure you have well fitting life jackets and when you get mout you experience so much life on the river, wild horses ran down to us as we were going through some rapids and as we sat on the river bank to eat lunch we were accompanied by cows and the little calfs, it was so lovely . The canoeing can be a bit tricky at 1st and the rapids a bit scary when you first see them, we did end up in stuck in the trees a few times but if you work together you soon get back on track . We did the 4 hour trip and it’s well worth it , took the train back to get back to the car at the end of the day , the only comment I’d make about the day is the organisers didn’t give directions on how to get back to the car park after getting off the train, so we did get a bit lost but apart from that, we had a great day and wil sleep well tonight 🙂

Had such a fun time canoeing! It was my first time and our instructor was so helpful! I didn’t manage to get her name but she was enthusiastic and wanted everyone to have a good time. Lots of things to see including turtles and lots of sheep!

I and my 7 & 9 year old absolutely loved this experience this week! 90 minutes in the kayak…. Such a serene and beautiful place! A bargain too! The staff Kyle & Kaylee were so helpful and patient! I shall certainly book again but for the canoe 🛶 experience which is a longer duration! I can highly rate this business! Take some spare clothes! Being in a kayak for 3….. I did get soaked! See you soon! 🙏🏼

Returning visit to the location, not sure if the organisers have changed but this was terribly organised. We arrived at 10:45 for the 11am slot. We didn't get on to the water until 11:30. The safety debrief didn't start until 11:10. Apparently waiting for one late comer (who eventually turned up at 11:20 and was allowed to continue with activity) Still told to return at 12:30. No apology or anything from the guy who was leading the activity just business as usual. So definitely shouldn't be advertised as 90 minutes on the canal if this is how its now run.
