The Cot
Stroud

The Cot is a traditional detached cottage built from stone, with the kind of solidity and character that comes from age. Inside, the ground floor wraps around a living room with a woodburner and a separate kitchen-dining space, both opening onto an enclosed, lawned garden with patio and barbecue. Upstairs are two bedrooms—a double and a single—and a shower room. It sleeps three and the whole place is yours alone.
The kitchen has everything needed for self-catering: electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. A Freeview Smart TV and CD player are in the living room. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included, as are the initial logs for the woodburner. There is parking for two cars on site. One well-behaved pet stays free.
The cottage sits within walking distance of the village pub, which serves food and ale. From here, the Cotswolds rolling landscape spreads out in all directions—woodland, fields and small valleys to explore on foot. The village itself has a quieter character than the market towns nearby. No smoking inside, please.
