About Hillside Farm Camping
This sloping meadow site on a working East Anglian farm offers peaceful views over fen, arable fields and a village church, with Norfolk's market towns and the Broads all within easy reach. Diss, Banham Zoo and Bressingham Steam & Gardens are each about 15 minutes' drive, while a dog-friendly pub sits just 20 minutes' walk away. Uniquely, the farm hosts a small on-site museum dedicated to the 388th Bomb Group who flew B-17s from nearby Knettishall airfield during the Second World War—worth requesting a viewing if aviation history stirs your interest.
Facilities are simple: a converted horsebox provides toilet and shower, with water available from a tap by the house and washing-up areas for campers. You'll need to bring your own gas barbecue or off-ground firepit. Dogs are welcome year-round on leads, and there's an electric car charging point plus free wifi. The setup is low-key rather than luxurious, but the scenery, history and warm farm hospitality more than compensate.

Excellent camp site and hostess couldn't do enough to make sure the visit was a success. Beautiful surroundings and lots of interesting things to do over a few days, went wild swimming, walks in woodlands, looked inside the interesting museum on site which specializes in B17 bomber and wartime memerobilia and stumbled into an old church from the 1400, I left feeling really relaxed.

Great communication, including What3Words location. Campsite was great - I met a very friendly woman (who may have been Deborah who sent the messages) who asked if I wanted to move the picnic bench nearer my tent. I felt safe leaving my bike there, which is not always the case. Good pub close by for dinner.

tiny campsite with a big heart. fun shower block and really useful communal area with fridge and electric for charging phones. would go back anytime. done road noise but not intrusive and quiet overnight.

Great little campsite , pub short walk away , loved the communal lounge barn area also has a fridge to keep your beers cold , showers were good , nice people running the campsite . If im that way again. I will stay again .
