About Kessingland Beach Holiday Park
Kessingland Beach is a bustling Parkdean Resorts park on the north Suffolk coast with its own path straight onto the shingle-backed beach. It's squarely aimed at families: heated indoor and outdoor pools, soft play, adventure playground, multi-sports court, crazy golf, on-site shop, bars and a full entertainment programme through the season. Touring pitches sit alongside the static fleet, with electric hook-up and pet-friendly options available. Prices start around £10 a night off-peak and climb sharply over school holidays.
The location adds real appeal beyond the park gates. Africa Alive zoo sits next door, Lowestoft and its free First Light Festival are minutes north, Southwold's twenty minutes south, and the Broads are close inland for boat trips. Be clear-eyed about what this is: busy and noisy in August, excellent value either side of peak season. Anyone seeking peace should look elsewhere, but for families who want a pool, a beach and plenty going on in one place, it delivers exactly that.

Excellent family holiday. We booked here as a party of 5 + 2 dogs, 3 of us in a Caravan and 2 in a Chalet. Both were extremely clean on arrival and had all the basics needed for a comfortable stay. The onsite shop was only a 30 second walk from where we were situated which was great. Shop had reasonable prices and stocked pretty much everything you needed. The site is well maintained, tidy & clean, maintenance staff were seen almost daily. The food at the Boathouse was excellent, we dined here 3 times and it was spot on each time, very friendly service! We would like to pass on our thanks to all of the staff , reception, shop staff, boathouse staff and the security guard who we had a lovely chat about our dogs with! We have booked up for October 2027 and can't wait to come back.

The holiday park as a whole is great, tidy, right on the beach for lovely walks, dogs welcome and has a good entertainment hub right in the middle. The parts that let it down is that the outdoor pool is gritty and full of other people's hair, which really puts me off. Being neurodivergent with two SEN kids, makes it tricky to find a happy medium, but the pool puts me right off. One other thing, which I think is across all parka, it the cost of the laundry machines- almost a fiver for one wash, then just keep putting coins in the dryer until its dry. Can sometimes cost up to £10 just to wash and dry swimming things. Very expensive. Staff are friendly and attentive, and as mentioned the park is tidy.

Great position by the sea and the caravans were nice, although not fully cleaned when we arrived. The pool was great but you had to get there early, and the staff were really friendly on the evening events. However there was a real lack of vegan options at all of the eateries. Most of them had nothing either then chips, and the bar having one dish. It's really disappointing and made family meals difficult.
