About The Coach House Suffolk

Lowestoft's coastline and local attractions are within easy reach of Chapel Road, making The Coach House Suffolk a sensible base for exploring the town without needing to venture far for essentials. The seafront and surrounding sights sit close enough to enjoy on foot or with a short drive, leaving more time for the day itself than for getting there.

The hotel has 18 rooms that are kept clean and finished with a modern touch, giving guests a comfortable place to return to after a day out. A restaurant and bar are on site, and breakfast is a particular strength, with a good spread that many find generous and satisfying. There's also a garden for quieter moments, a lift for ease of access, and luggage storage for those arriving early or leaving late.

Staff are consistently described as warm and helpful, adding to the sense of a relaxed stay rather than a purely functional one. With its straightforward facilities and coastal setting, The Coach House Suffolk suits those wanting a comfortable, well-run stopping point for taking in Lowestoft and its surrounding area.

What a find Excellent price point and worth every penny. We had an amazing room very modern with fantastic shower and quality bed. All amenities were excellent. The staff can't do enough for you. Accommodated all our needs and went above and beyond. Breakfast staff first class nothing too much trouble and the breakfast was substantial, loads of choice, quality food - amazing. We stayed 4 nights 27th June to 1st July. Will definitely recommend and we will stay again. One point and it's minor, we went to the beach every day, the room was made up but not hoovered could have done with due to the sand.

What more can we say? From the minute we walked into the hotel, the receptionist was lovely, helpful, and explained everything to us. She even took us to our room and showed us where everything was. We had requested extra pillows and fans, and they were already there waiting for us. The room was clean, tidy, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed. We decided to dine in the restaurant and were shown straight to our table. We explained that my wife is dairy-free, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable and stress-free. The food was excellent, and once again, all the staff were friendly and attentive. We had a very good night’s sleep and then went down for breakfast. Every member of staff greeted us with a cheerful “good morning” and were incredibly helpful. The lady who had served us in the restaurant the previous evening told us about the hotel’s newly refurbished rooms. After we had finished our meal, she kindly took us to see them. They are fantastic, and we are already looking forward to staying in one on our next visit. What more can I say? You will not go wrong with this hotel. Thank you to all the staff and management for making our stay so enjoyable.

We have stayed here several times now, and every time is just delightful. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, especially Debbie, always smiling and have a laugh. Rooms are spotless and so comfortable. And they always look after the dog with a sausage in the morning lol. Cannot fault it. The staff make the place

I almost don’t want to give a review because it is so lovely at the Coach House I don’t want to tell anyone else but I mustn’t be selfish. Everything about this place is top notch, the staff are super friendly, the rooms are very clean and comfortable ( we even had a fan provided without asking this time as it was so warm which was a life saver) we ate dinner which was delicious as was the freshly cooked breakfast, no buffet food here which is often cold or incomplete in a lot of places . The whole place is tastefully presented and we will definitely return again.
