Walking through the door of The Creamery puts you straight into an open-plan living space where the kitchen, dining area and lounge flow together as one room. There's a proper cooker, induction hob, dishwasher and all the basics for cooking; a comfortable seating area with a bio-fuel fire for cooler evenings; and room to eat. Smart TV, wifi and heating are all included, along with a welcome pack on arrival.
Upstairs, the bedroom is where the property distinguishes itself. A freestanding bath sits inside the room itself—the kind of thing you book a place for—and there's a separate en-suite with a shower cubicle and toilet. The double bed is 4ft 6in. Essentials like bed linen, towels and electricity are covered.
The Creamery sits behind the owners' home in Blunsdon, a village at the edge of the Cotswolds. Swindon Designer Village is close; so are the Cotswold Water Park and Fairford Air Show. The building is Grade II listed and historically part of Fowlers Farm, which dates to around 1609. One car space is available on site. Smoking is not permitted. Check-in is after 15:00, checkout before 10:00.
