Power went out in my room multiple times. . Used my electronics for rest of holiday at other places and power didnt go out once. Room was filled with all you need including tv, bath and a nice bed. Food was a tad bit simple but considering prices were good for pub food. Continental breakfast included included in room booking. The normal breakfast menu looks better but that costs extra and you get the continental with your room. Id rather not have the continental included in room and be able to pick another breakfast for the money saved.

We, a group of 3 spend a delightful night at The George and Dragon in early June. We took 3 rooms which were comfortable and had everything we required. We relieved a warm welcome. Dinner was excellent Breakfast (included in the price) consisted of a cold buffet + a choice of ether Sausage, Bacon or Egg sandwich and was more than adequate and filling 😁 The Inn is traditional and I'd thoroughly recommend a visit.

This is one of the nicest pubs I have stayed in. It’s run buy a wonderful family who care about their customers. Great food, atmosphere, service along with friendly staff. Please support them in anyway you can coz they are genuinely running a proper English Pub. Well done and I will be back once moved into the next village. Fully recommended! 5 ⭐

We recently visited The George & Dragon Country Pub & Hotel in Wolverton Townsend for dinner and had a really lovely experience. The food was delicious, with everything cooked beautifully and full of flavour. The staff were especially welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Great service and a relaxed atmosphere made it a thoroughly enjoyable evening. We’ll definitely be back!
