Lucky Cottage

Broadhempston is a quiet village in Teignbridge, positioned between Totnes, Dartmoor and the Devon coast. Lucky Cottage is a period stone building that works as a base for exploring any of these – moorland walks are on the doorstep, the beaches are a short drive away, and the market town of Totnes is about 15 minutes by car. The village itself offers a slower pace, with a pub within a mile and the surrounding countryside for gentle exploration.

The cottage has two bedrooms upstairs: a double and a twin, served by a family bathroom with a freestanding bath and overhead shower. Downstairs, an open-plan living, dining and kitchen space is the heart of the place, centred around a log burner. The kitchen handles everyday cooking, and the sitting area has Fire TV, Netflix and Disney+ for quieter evenings. Outside, a fully enclosed garden gives a private space for eating breakfast or sitting out after a day's exploring; parking is nearby so the immediate setting stays peaceful.

Electricity, Wi-Fi and bed linen are included. One dog is welcome. The property is whole to yourself, not shared. No smoking inside.
