We had the best day doing the zoo keeper experience. We had 4 hours with one of the keepers who was very knowledgeable and shared so many interesting facts about some of the unusual and lesser known animals they have at the zoo. We also spent time in the enclosures, feeding the animals and carrying out some of the daily tasks of the keepers. Would really recommend to any animal lover, a very unique and personal experience.

This is a very small zoo with lots of small primates. We did the junior explorer booklet which made it fun and we learn some interesting facts. You can come in and out all day though. The staff where lovely and showed us the animals in the nocturnal house.

Never been here , although we're local, a lovely small zoo , and you feel like your actually with the animals, we went in July on a Monday and we're there for 1pm feeding time , it was quiet which actually made a better experience for us, informative staff and predominantly volunteers, small mammals due to the size , but some nice variations, great for photos , being close you can get beyond the cage in most situations, well worth a couple hours and the money to get in, will go again that's for sure

Lovely little zoo. Spent about an hour here. Lots of little animals mainly monkeys. Zoo itself is easy to walk around. Well kept and maintained. Staff very friendly and gift shop well stocked. Would recommend if in area. You can go in as many times as you like during the day with your ticket. Good connections with other businesses in area as provided discounts in the local pub with a ticket.
