Wrockwardine Cottages - Wrockwardine Cottage
Telford and Wrekin
Wrockwardine Cottage is a traditionally built property converted from a period black and white cottage, set within the grounds of Wrockwardine Hall in the heart of the village. The location puts you roughly midway between Shrewsbury and Telford, making it a practical base for exploring Shropshire, Staffordshire and the Welsh borders. A 13th-century church stands nearby, and the village itself has a shop 200 yards away, with a pub and restaurant about a mile off.
Downstairs is an open-plan living space with a woodburner, dining area and kitchen equipped for proper cooking—gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher and all the usual appliances. There's a separate toilet on this level. Upstairs holds two bedrooms (one king, one double) and a bathroom with both a roll-top bath and a separate shower cubicle. The property sleeps four and is yours alone for the duration of your stay. Parking for one car is on site; wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included, along with the initial fuel for the woodburner.
The cottage comes with a garden, patio and sitting-out area furnished with garden furniture, plus a BBQ. The grounds also give access to nearby activity centres offering water sports, while Ironbridge Gorge, Attingham Park, the RAF Museum at Cosford and Ludlow are all within reasonable reach. Smoking is not permitted inside the property.
