Lord Nelson Hotel

About Lord Nelson Hotel

Lord Nelson Hotel suits travellers who want a compact, well-equipped base rather than a sprawling resort - business visitors staying near Telford, wedding parties, or anyone breaking a journey through Shropshire. With just 12 rooms, it has the feel of a small hotel run for practicality: each room comes with an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, free WiFi and drinks, and the building has a lift for easy access to all floors.

Guests can start the day with breakfast on site and unwind afterwards in the bar or out in the garden and outdoor seating area. The hotel also has a gym and a spa with sauna, useful for anyone wanting to fit in a workout or relax after a day of meetings, which are easily hosted here thanks to the dedicated meeting rooms. Porter and concierge services, along with luggage storage, add convenience for those arriving with heavy bags or tight schedules, and the venue also hosts weddings.

Wellington in Shropshire lies close by, and Wolverhampton University is within reach for anyone visiting the area on academic business. The surrounding streets offer pubs, restaurants and other eateries, plus entertainment and a nearby golf course, making it easy to fill spare time before or after a stay on Park Street.
