On Saturday 9th May my friend Ulla and I took a Maverick Boat trip from Newhaven Harbour Marina out past Tidemills, Seaford Splash Point, Seaford Head, the Cuckmere Estuary where the Cuckmere River joins the sea and also where the famous seaside cottages that have featured in countless movies 🎬 are situated. From there we passed the beautiful Seven Sisters Cliffs also famous from movies and a key area where aerial dog fights during the Battle of Britain took place. We continued on to Birling Gap before turning around just short of Beachy Head Cliffs and the Belle Tout Lighthouse. Throughout the trip Sarah our tour guide and boat pilot provided everyone with interesting historical facts as well as places to go and see. We also stopped at a number of places so that everyone could take photos 📸 and Sarah also offered to take photos with you in the foreground and the beauty spots behind you with your phones so that you could take away your experience with you in pictures. So if you would like to take a boat trip along an area of outstanding natural ✨️ beauty, this is an excellent Rib boat experience that I would truly recommend. As locals I can’t believe we haven’t done this before! Fab trip with Sarah - we had a great time. To see the wonderful coastline from the comfort of the boat (with amazing weather and calm seas) was beautiful! Will definitely do another adventure with your company again.

What a perfect tour! Sarah is a great guide who told us lots of stories about the area. We stopped for pictures, took a swim. The Seven Sisters were impressiv! Can only recommend the tour, Sarah was witty and very qualified!

Maverick boat adventures are brilliant- so well run - great trip - brilliant skipper Sarah and excellent value for money - this really is a must do if you live or visit Sussex - absolutely 10/10 in every aspect.
