Sound of the Sea

Sound of the Sea sits on the third floor of a seafront building, and the first thing you notice when you arrive is the open-plan living space that runs the length of the flat. The kitchen flows into a dining area and living room where a Freeview Smart TV faces out towards the balcony doors. That outdoor space, furnished and looking toward the coast, is where you'll probably spend half your time. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms service four guests: one bedroom has a kingsize bed with its own ensuite shower, the other contains two single beds served by a family bathroom with a bath and shower over.

The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering, with an induction hob, electric oven, combi microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine. Heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included, along with Wi-Fi. If you're travelling with young children, a travel cot and highchair are available. There is private parking for one car and an electric charging point on site if you need it.

Ramsgate's beach and harbour are within walking distance, with rock pools, seafood restaurants and boat trips all nearby. The Ramsgate Tunnels are close by for those interested in local history. The property does not permit smoking. Families, couples and groups of friends all find their feet here easily enough.
