Burrows Ridge

Burrows Ridge works well for families wanting a full house to themselves, or small groups of up to six. The three bedrooms sleep everyone comfortably: a super king with its own ensuite on the first floor, a zip-and-link that splits into two singles if needed, and a double. There are two bathrooms between them, both with heated towel rails. One dog is welcome to join you.

Downstairs, the kitchen has what you need to cook properly—oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and washing machine—and opens onto the enclosed garden via patio doors. A separate living room has a Smart TV, and there's a dining space too. You get Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels included. A highchair and stairgate are available if you're bringing young children. Off-street parking fits two cars.

The garden itself is private and fenced, with a patio and furniture for sitting out. Westward Ho! beach is roughly a mile away—close enough for regular visits to surf or swim. The village of Appledore, with its seafront position overlooking Instow, is also within easy reach. No smoking throughout the property.
