Finlog

The moment you step through the door of Finlog, you're met with an open-plan living space that spans the entire ground floor. A woodburner anchors the sitting area, where two sofas face a smart TV. The dining table sits naturally alongside the kitchen, which has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine—everything needed to cook proper meals rather than make do. Two bedrooms branch off from this main space: one with a double bed, the other with two singles and its own Freeview TV. A shower room with a double walk-in shower completes the layout.

Outside, a lawned garden with seating and a barbecue provides a real outdoor room, though note there is one step down to reach it. The cabin sits deep in North Devon woodland, which means genuine quiet, yet the Hartland Heritage Coast and its rugged cliffs lie within striking distance. Sandymouth Bay and Bude's beaches—some good for surfing, others for exploring rockpools—are also close by. The village of Bradworthy, a short drive away, has a pub, shops and a genuine community feel. One dog stays free, and smoking is not permitted. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included; parking for one car is on site.
