The Mount

Appledore sits on the Torridge estuary, a working fishing village where the National Coastal Path passes right by and the beach at Westward Ho! lies within walking distance. The Mount occupies a first-floor position with views across the water towards Braunton Burrows. The pub and restaurants are 400 yards away; shops slightly further. From here you can watch the regular ferries to Lundy Island, book day trips from Bideford Quay, or simply walk out onto the coastal path towards Northam Burrows.

Inside are two double bedrooms, a bathroom with bath and shower, and a kitchen-diner with electric cooker, dishwasher and microwave. The living room has a smart TV and Blu-ray player. A travel cot and highchair are available on request, and the property sleeps up to five. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and heating are provided. On-road parking is available outside.

Water sports, golf, horse riding and fishing are all within five miles. The village itself draws people for its pubs, which often have live music, and as a base for exploring the wider area—Clovelly is among the nearby attractions. No smoking inside the flat.
