We stopped at the cafe only recommended by our bike hire. It was a welcome stop after 10 miles scenic ride. Super friendly service i took home sone souvenir Devon cider. Food could be better odd salad dressing I had cheese salad was surprised it was grated lost its flavour. Pizza baguette had v little peperoni. Otherwise super pretty stop.

We only visited the cafe. The coffee was awesome, truly out of this world! The staff were friendly, pleasant and efficient. The location was beautiful, and cool on a hot day. You really felt like you were at a cafe in the woods! It was great that you got extras with the breakfast baguettes, salad and crisps. The breakfast was ok, not the best. The bacon was lacking in any flavour. We will definitely be back, but more for the coffee, location and the lovely staff.

We walked out to this place on the Tarka trail, about three miles in total. By the time we got there we were ready for some refreshments. It's a quirky little place and the staff are helpful and friendly and our coffee and cake were delicious. We will be going back soon.

Visited on our way back from our cycle along the Tarka Trail. Well placed for us and a welcome pot of tea for two. Worthy of 5 stars already, but nailed on when the pot of tea arrived with and extra pot of hot water to top it up, not many cafes do that these days so a bonus point from us.
