About Chycara
Chycara is a modest, homely guest house rather than a sprawling hotel, with just six rooms tucked away on Chyreen Lane in Truro. Its small scale gives it a quieter, more personal feel than larger coastal hotels, making it well suited to travellers who want a simple base rather than a resort experience.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and free WiFi, and there's a kitchen and garden for guests to make use of during their stay. Practical extras include free on-site parking and an electric vehicle charge point, plus 24 hour reception for flexible arrivals. Food isn't cooked on site, but pubs, bars and restaurants can all be found nearby for evening meals.
Truro itself is within easy reach, and the surrounding area offers golf and fishing for those who want to fill their days actively, alongside Cornwall's wider coastline and attractions. It's a straightforward, no-frills stay geared towards guests who plan to spend most of their time out exploring rather than lingering at the property.
