About Bissoe Valley Touring Park
Tucked into a quiet valley near Chacewater, Bissoe Valley is an adults-only touring park that strikes a calm, no-frills tone. With electric hook-ups, hot showers and fresh drinking water on tap, it covers the essentials without fuss, and staying open year-round makes it a flexible option for off-season explorers. Dogs are warmly welcomed, so you can bring the whole family—minus the children.
Perranporth's sweeping sands lie just fifteen minutes' drive away, while Truro's shops and cathedral are equally close. The valley setting feels genuinely peaceful, and reviewers consistently praise the friendly, helpful owners. The lack of Wi-Fi won't suit everyone, but if you're after a quiet, uncomplicated base for roaming Cornwall's coast and countryside, this ticks the boxes.

What visitors say
Although we still have three more days left of our 14 night stay whilst I’m sat here after another glorious full day out I thought I would leave our review of Bissoe Valley Touring Park. Firstly John and Tracy are fantastic! They obviously care a lot about this wonderful site and the place is immaculate. You literally couldn’t want for anything more in life than what’s on offer here. Great pitches, lovely views and a very reasonable fee. We’ve stayed in many places over the years and now and again a place like this comes up and reaffirms the whole reason we love getting away in our caravan. We were super lucky with some gorgeous weather and unbelievable places to visit. Genuinely the best holiday we’ve had in years home or abroad (maybe ever) Thanks John and Tracy for your hospitality.

Fantastic little site away from noise but close enough to get to some lovely local places. Thoroughly enjoyed the walks from the site down the cycle path in both directions. Clean and tidy throughout the site and the owners were brilliant. We will be returning 😊 Thank you John and Tracy our stay was brilliant.

One of our favourite 'go to' campsites. A small friendly site beautifully maintained and lovingly cared for by onsite owners John and Tracy. Situated in the delightful Bissoe Valley - ideal for those seeking a quiet, peaceful break with bike hire close by to explore the surrounding countryside. 5 stars well deserved !

What a lovely place. Fabulous fully serviced 5 star pitches. Beautifully maintained by Tracy and John who are so friendly and helpful. Each pitch is good level hard standing with grass ‘sit out’ area. Situated in lovely valley away from the crowds with short drives to lots of beautiful coast and places of interest. Lovely walks and bike trails direct from site. Dog friendly with lovely secure dog field. Half hour walk to local friendly pub for drink/ meal. What more can you ask. Definitely on our return list.
