What visitors say
What a delightful stay we had here this weekend. Karen and Dave were great hosts and the personal touches of prosecco, breakfast hamper and local knowledge were lovely. The hut has everything you need for a self sufficient, relaxing stay in a secluded location. Wood burner and outdoor fire for all seasons as well as a well equipped kitchen and bathroom with locally made toiletries. So cosy with beautiful views of the countryside and outdoor seating which was so peaceful with the provided coffee to start the day. Book a stay here, I promise you wont regret it!

Cromwell’s Hideaway is pure magic. Tucked away in the most peaceful countryside setting, it feels like your own secret escape. The hut has everything you need – a cosy comfortable bed, proper shower and loo, a little kitchen space. Karen and Dave provided a lovely breakfast basket, snacks and a chilled bottle of prosecco. The real highlight though is outside, sitting by the firepit under a sky full of stars, with nothing but the sounds of nature around you. It’s quiet, romantic, and beautifully thought out. It's the perfect retreat for a couple’s getaway. Total relaxation at it best. Book this little beauty, you will not be disappointed.

My partner booked this as a little surprise for me and wow what an amazing surprise it was. We were greeted by Karen who was so friendly and gave us recommendations of places to visit. The hut itself is amazing, very cosy, there was a beautiful welcome basket of goodies along with everything we could possibly need. It is nice and secluded overlooking amazing views and very quiet and peaceful. The seating area was very cosy outside with a firepit for the chillier evening. Inside the log burner and underfloor heating would have kept us very warm had we needed it (we were blessed with very nice weather). The hut was spotlessly clean, the bed very comfortable and the water nice and hot. We would highly recommend Cromwell's Hideaway to anyone and we look forward to booking again. Thank you Karen and Dave for an amazing place to stay.

I had a wonderful time staying at Cromwell’s Hideaway. I wanted somewhere peaceful I could retire to at the end of a day’s course so I chose 3 nights at the Hideaway and it didn’t disappoint me. It was warm and cosy even in the rain, with the underfloor heating and the log burner. I was lucky one evening to be able to light the fire pit, eat outside and watch the stars. There is everything there you could possibly need, lovely coffee and breakfast all provided. I will be visiting again very soon. Karen is a lovely host and made sure everything was there for me.
