Converted Stable No 2
Uttlesford
Converted Stable No 2 was rebuilt from an old stable in 2019, retaining the character of its agricultural origins while offering modern comfort. The entire property sits on the ground floor and combines bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living space in a single open plan area, keeping things simple and efficient. A double bed (4ft 6in), shower cubicle, electric cooking facilities and heating are all provided, along with wi-fi, bed linen and towels; a welcome pack is here when you arrive.
Outside, a small patio with seating faces across fields. Parking for two cars is on site. A pub is within a mile's walk. The location sits in the rolling countryside of north Essex near the Suffolk border, close to Finchingfield and within reach of the market towns of Saffron Walden and Thaxted. Cambridge is 30 minutes away by car, Newmarket 40. Walking the local paths is straightforward from the door. No smoking inside the property.
