Stayed here for a few nights in our caravan, this is one of those places that's just brilliant, amazing pub with fantastic food and very reasonable pricing for the pitch fees, decent playground for the kids safe and secure. The landlord is an absolute workhorse, he's everywhere at all times of the morning, day and night and always welcoming and helpful. Will definitely be coming back again, thank you for a great break. We stayed for a couple of nights on a motorhome pitch. We slept through so road noise didn't bother us. We had dinner and breakfast in the pub. Food was freshly cooked and lovely. It's not far from home but was convenient for where we going. Owners and staff very friendly we would return, but also would pop in for food if somewhere close

WOW! THANK YOU! We spent a day at Alton Towers and wanted a meal before a long journey home, the staff were SO kind and attentive! The food was absolutely delicious, my daughter said 100/100, they couldn’t have done enough the staff. Good value for money! Our new spot after AT now! Thank you for topping off our day!

We stopped in here for a carvery on the way back from Alton Towers, and it’s without any exaggeration the best carvery my wife and I have ever had. Everything was fresh, and there was an incredible range of food. The staff were outstanding, made us feel really welcome and treated us as if we were regulars. Genuinely could not recommend it enough.
