We stayed in the family room, 1 double bed and a single. Room was lovely clean, comfortable and welcoming with a spotless shower room. The food was excellent every night as we stayed for three nights. Excellent place to stay for Alton Towers which is a short drive away as we visited there for two days, 1 at the Splash Park. The owner Margaret was brilliant, very helpful and a truly lovely person. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. I would highly recommend this place, it is a beautiful building which is steeped in history, with beautiful surroundings, outside seating area too. We will definitely be coming back the next time we are down this area.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at the peakstone Inn. Margaret was absolutely amazing. Went up and beyond. We stayed for a small trip to Alton towers for my daughter's birthday. Just me and her woke up to birthday banners for her and the staff was just truly amazing. The breakfast was great and the nighttime food was just as good The room is clean and a comfortable stay beer was good and pool table is cool

Found a lovely little pub near alton towers. We didn't want to pay the prices in alton towers as it is ridiculous so found this pub on Google. It wasn't a far drive so we went to see if they was still serving food. When we went inside there was 2 other families eating too and the food and drinks were a really good price and such a beautiful pub with lots of history. The food was lovely all fresh and very filling. The staff were also very friendly and polite. We would definitely return. You can also stay here in private lodges so I will try that next tike we visit alton towers.

We have been recommended this place by one of locals when looking for a dinner, outside of Alton Towers Resort. We have been welcomed by very lovely staff. Place is so unique with a lots of character, and fire place warming up the room. Food was absolutely amazing and well priced. Thank you for the warm welcome and delicious food.
