Tucked onto the edge of a 26-acre sports complex, this modest campsite offers a surprisingly handy base for exploring the Thames-side market town of Wallingford – less than a ten-minute stroll from the town centre. The facilities here are shared with the sports park itself, meaning campers have access to the on-site bar, clubhouse and Pitchside Café (serving weekend brunch through summer), plus tennis courts, squash centres and astroturf pitches if you fancy a kickabout. Great place to work from! Came back again to Wallingford Sports Park to catch up on a few work matters with some colleagues. Very friendly place, rooms are comfortable to work from, guest Wi-Fi available (I’ve had no issues with connection so far), and a good selection of hot and cold drinks you can order and snacks available (have a chat with them about if food is available). There is good amount of parking, and being a work day plenty of space. I’m sure we will be back again 🙂

Thank you Matt for a fabulous venue for my 80th birthday on Saturday. The buffet was wonderful and plentiful and the staff really friendly. It was a spacious function room and great to play skittles there. Thank you for your patience with me. Certainly 10 out of 10 for everything.

Like always cold and windy, but they can't control that😜 No real ale though! Keep returning to play petanque last time the beer was good and the food provided after the match was first rate.

Very interesting place! Lots going on, many different activities. Nice bar area. Lots of function rooms available for hire. Good place to hold a conference or a talk. Tidy, clean, rooms.
