What visitors say
Great place to introduce fossils to children. The rocks and beach are easily accessible (best at low tide) Just be aware of the cliffs from which large chunks can fall offering up more beautiful specimens!

Beautiful little bay, perfect for paddle boarding. Rock pools to explore, shallow waters, snorkeling hot spot. Lovely walks across the top of the cliffs too. Nature a plenty, we saw Slow Worms and an Adder.

Stunning and unique part of the Dorset Jurassic Coast.... Access road is single track with passing places. Closes at 8pm. Toilets are a short walk. Cliff edge is very close to parking area, so beware, as there are no warning signs at the edge... especially for children and dogs. Check high and low tides in advance. The New Inn in Church Knowle has new owners, dog friendly, reasonably priced menu.

Plenty of parking. £6 all day, including toll road. Toilets a available. Some units selling ice- cream and coffee and snacks. Though they were shut when I came up off beach at 2.30 pm. Some ammonite on beach . Steep steps down, beach a little rocky, though I did see people who had some mobility issues; make it down to beach with their walking sticks.
