About Owl Barn Farm Camping

This small family-run farm site near Stratford-upon-Avon offers a proper countryside escape with resident chickens and goats (who live separately but welcome visits). You'll camp on grass pitches with straightforward facilities – toilets, showers and washing-up areas – and during peak season can join the popular goat-yoga sessions, where pygmy goats wander among yogis attempting their poses.

The location delivers: walking trails cross the surrounding farmland, while nearby options include paddleboarding, open-water swimming and fishing. Stratford's Shakespeare attractions and Warwick Castle are both 15 minutes' drive, and if you're here on a Saturday, Wellesbourne Airfield Market operates just across the road. A couple of supermarkets sit five minutes away for provisions, though several pubs dot the area and Stratford offers plenty of eating-out choices. Note that dogs aren't permitted on site.

I can’t recommend this place enough or say enough positive things about it!! This was a fantastic little break and we will definitely return! Simple, easy going, affordable camping and the kids really loved it. We travelled with two families (total of 3 adults and 5 kids). We left a little early, but it was by no means due to the campsite or the service, it was just because our tent let a bit too much rain in so our blankets were wet. The farm has a horse, a pony, several goats, chickens, chicks and ducks which were all super friendly and loved the attention from the kids. The hosts were absolutely great! They allowed the kids to spend time with the chickens, hold the chicks and groom the horses. They even got us out a spot of bother with the jump leads when our big lad drained our car battery (thank you). Whilst the site wasn’t massive like a commercial campsite, there’s still ample space to allow the crazy kids run wild without being anywhere near anyone else (you get to choose your own spot to which was great). The toilets/showers were super clean and well maintained and there’s a sink area to wash pots and pans. There’s a little airfield near by and the market was enjoyable. I would 100% recommend this site if you’re looking for something easy going and simple that the kids will love. Thank you for a great time!

A great site for comfort camping. Not wild, not luxury. Owl Barn Farm has all of the facilities you need to have an enjoyable camping trip (toilets, showers, washing up facilities) without any frills that may detract from a proper camping experience. The site is in a quiet location, but close enough to visit supermarkets/pubs etc. The kids loved seeing the goats, chickens, ducks, horse and pony while we stayed and the owner was more than happy to talk to them about the animals and walk them around the small farm site. Overall, this small quiet site provides everything needed for an enjoyable break and I'm sure we will be back in the future.

This is a lovely little gem! My partner and I booked last minute for a quick trip and we’re very pleasantly surprised once we got here. The field is very large and we were told just to pick the spot we liked best and pitch up there which was great. They also have some little goats and two horses which we went and said hello to. The owner even gave me some treats to feed them :) the shower/toilet facilities were really good, clean and spacious. There’s also a nice little cafe at a nearby airfield and shops aren’t too far. No road noise at all so a very peaceful sleep. Overall an amazing trip and we’d definitely come back, the owners were very friendly and helpful as well. Thank you owl barn farm!

As three families looking for a camping base for the weekend to allow us to visit the Leamington Spa Fake Festival, we came across this site perfectly situated (20 mins drive away). Well spaced out pitches, mowed individually into a field of meadow grass. So peaceful. No electric hookup, but for a weekend away, we managed without. The toilet block was kept very clean with plenty of flushing loos. Showers were 50p per 5 mins, but with the camp site charges being so reasonable, we were more than happy to pay (we took plenty of 50ps). Phone signal/ data was a bit sketchy in places. The owners are lovely and so helpful. They acknowledge that the washing up sink being in the ladies is unconventional, but told us that was a temporary measure until they get a dedicated washing up point sorted, which is on the list of their priorities. My husband quite liked the excuse to get out of washing up! 😄 The sink is right near to the door though, and not right outside any cubicles, so none of us minded the men/ boys that did use it for washing up. All in all, we had a really peaceful, restful couple of nights on this site and would highly recommend for others seeking similar.
