What visitors say
A lovely quiet site with very good facilities. Toilets, showers, washing up area. Hard standing or grass for touring vans/motorhomes, plus a nice camping area. Easy walk across fields to the river with a small beach like area. Paddling for the youngsters, with supervision! Only downside could be the narrow access lane. Hosts are efficient and friendly.

We visited this campsite over the weekend, and it turned out to be a lovely experience. It wasn’t very busy on the day we went, probably because the weather wasn’t sunny. While the campsite itself isn’t directly on the riverside, the river is only about 300 meters away and easily accessible from the camping area. The host was really friendly and welcoming, and the site is both child- and pet-friendly, which made it feel relaxed and family-oriented. Some groups were having small parties, but it didn’t bother us at all – I actually enjoyed seeing people happy and having fun. Overall, it was a good experience, and I’d be happy to visit again.

Lovely little campsite with showers, toilet and cooking facilities. Showers are £1 for 5 minutes and start as soon as the money goes into the meter. There are electrical points too. Nice little stream and sheep next to you. Downside campers can enter anytime, there isn’t a last entry or gate that closes we had campers setting up at midnight through till 3am so hardly had any sleep

Excellent site. Awesome hilly views, plenty of sheep to watch lol. Toilette block is clean and showers work, costing 1 quid for 5 mins. It is a very quiet site good for getting away. Without hookup its great value of 15 quid a night, can't go wrong.. Just take care on road to site, very thin and ensure you arrive so you turn right into the site, otherwise you will be in trouble..
