We stayed at the elavated oak perch as a last minute breakaway to celebrate us getting married last week. As soon as we booked it we knew we'd made the right decision, we received a welcome message from Bryn and Annalise including so much useful information of what's local and where to go/what to do. We were welcomed with a hamper of local produce and a bottle of bubbly to celebrate. We also brought our 2 dogs who absolutely loved watching the sheep on the 7 acre field which is accessible and a must do for the views at the top. The place is stunning and so cosy and comfortable. We wish we could have stayed longer but we will most definitely be back for another stay soon.

The Uppergelli 'bach' has become my.new happy place. Beautiful set up, stunning views, comfy, quiet..and the hosts are lovely. All in all..perfect. Can't fault anything. Will definitely be back! Thank you Bryn and Annelise 😊

If only we could give more than 5 stars because it really does deserve a sky full! Our little family (me, partner and pooch) had the most incredible long weekend in Uppergelli, and it was better than we could have hoped. Bryn and Annalise really have made a mini haven, stocked with everything you could need to have a tranquil and relaxing time surrounded by a beautiful landscape. The decor was gorgeous. The beds were comfortable. And all the added extras made the whole experience super special - hot tub, sauna and log burner to name a few! Even the little welcome basket with some essentials to get the first cup of tea and welshcake in after a long drive were just lovely. We were extra lucky we were shown around the garden by the lovely Annalise who has grown allsorts of wonderful things. And Bryn who was there if we ever needed to know where the best place would be to watch the pooch or when we ran out of firewood! Thank you again for everything - we cannot wait to come back 🤍 Meg, Matt and Percy

I couldn’t have picked a better place to rest after having surgery! The Perch at upper gelli was simply beautiful! We were kindly upgraded from the shepherds huts which were equally as beautiful which we are very grateful for. The perch was one of several places they offer to stay all unique, comfortable and perfectly situated. With a night time rally race to enjoy as well as a gorgeous hot tub and stunning views it has been a most memorable experience and highly recommend to anyone interested in car racing for future reference. Bryn and Annelise are the most nurturing kindest people I have met in a long time and nothing was too much trouble! Their generosity will not be forgotten and I will be forever grateful. If you are looking for a really wholesome experience with fantastic hosts Upper Gelli is the place! You will definitely see us again in the future thank you again x
