What visitors say
We had a week here and loved it. We stayed in a dog friendly static caravan, which was clean and tidy. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The site itself was also clean. tidy and relaxing, we only used the indoor pool which was great (the outdoor pool was always busy when we went to use it). The site is very dog friendly, allowing dogs into the club. There is a footpath from the site down into Woolacomde which only takes about 15mins to walk. We will be returning to this site in the future.

Fantastic campsite on a steep hillside, make sure your brakes and clutch are good to go. Awesome , free entertainment, food, games, laundrette on site. 15 minutes walk down to the beach. Good selection of statics , touring pitches and camping pitches. Great facilities for kids with a small play park and an astropitch with loads of kids playing ad hoc football games. Avoid avenue five near the toilet if you dont like being near noisy kids playing. Generally kids behaviour was great. There were some energetic groups of adults having bbqs etc but very quiet at night. The price was unbeatable and the cleanliness of the while site difficult to beat. Friendly atmosphere. I prefer wild camping but across the valley we saw wild deer and foxes from the comfort of our campsite.

Just got back we were on a touring pitch with our motorhome, really enjoyed the site ,swim every morning, club house had all you could want . We were on Ave 2 right next door to wash block ,which I have to say were very clean . Dog walk was good for the shade if a bit steep but not an issue for us . Enjoyed walk from site to beach , again hilly walk back but again fine for us 60 Yr old. Awesome views and I personally found staff friendly and helpful .First time but hopefully not the last

The site is very well run. They clearly invest in the facilities as everything was so well maintained and clean. Our kids loved the entertainment. The site is minutes walk from the main town and beach. But the best thing about Woolacombe Sands is the staff. They are all so welcoming, friendly and helpful. We are already talking about a return trip and would recommend it to anyone.
