Belmont is a single-storey detached property sleeping four in two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a three-quarter double. The open-plan living space includes a sofa bed, and there's a bathroom with bath and shower. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, with electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and microwave. Everything sits on ground level with level access, and the property is yours alone for the duration of your stay.

An enclosed lawned garden with patio, furniture and barbecue faces the property, with parking for two cars on site. One well-behaved pet stays free of charge. The essentials are covered—heating, linen, towels and Wi-Fi—plus there's a travel cot and highchair available if needed. No smoking indoors.

The bungalow is in Hesketh Bank, a village with a high-end supermarket, farm shop and takeaways; nearby Tarleton has a café and pubs. Bird enthusiasts and walkers head for the Ribble Estuary Nature Reserve, less than three miles away, or Martin Mere. Southport is under 20 minutes' drive, offering 22 miles of beach, a long pier, shops, restaurants and the Trans Pennine Trail for cycling.
