The soft play area is great and they let the mum's and dad's come in to help. The cost of a ticket is cheap and you get 1 1/2 to play and they aren't tight on the timing. I recommend booking though otherwise if it is busy you get a really small table with uncomfortable chairs. The toilets are clean and cute for the little ones in the fuzzy eds section and the environment is very nice.

Just had a meal here. Fantastic value for money. The food was tasty and cooked with care which goes a long way in my book. Highly recommend this place for a good meal with kids too.

I have given this place more than enough chances but finally felt compelled to leave a review. First occasion my medium rare steak arrived well done. Reported it to the staff and my steak was replaced correctly. No problem with that and happy to return. Second occasion, went to order only to be told they stop serving food at 9pm. Not a problem only the bar staff had stood watching us look at the menu for 20 minutes and could easily have warned us in time. This time, I accepted the blame for arriving too late. Third and (trust me) final occasion, I upgraded my steak to an 8oz rump steak. When it arrived, I assumed they had mistakenly given me the 5oz steak forgetting I had upgraded as it was so small. Totally expected the response from the staff to be, oops we forgot the upgrade. However, I was approached by the manager who explained, "it doesn't go on size, it goes on weight and it is an 8oz steak". I'm sorry but I've been enjoying steak my whole adult life and if this thing started at 8oz, I have no idea where the 3oz went between the kitchen and my table. I was offered an additional 5oz steak and at this point I felt they had redeemed themselves. That was until I cut into what I can only describe as the sole of a shoe. A person who orders a medium rare steak is obviously not going to be happy eating a medium well to well done steak so unfortunately I had to complain again. The same manager, who's attitude was defensive at best but more like insulting asked me "what do you want me to do, we're already cooking you another 5oz steak for free?". Shocked at her attitude I responded, all I want is an 8oz medium rare steak which is what I've ordered. Her response, "fine" whilst grabbing my plate and walking off. Had the attitude have been, what anybody spending good money in their establishment would expect, I would not be writing this review. Instead, for the first time in my life, I demanded a refund. With resistance, the refund was finally granted. My advice to the chain... Stop serving steaks on hot plates. Not only are they dangerous, they continue to cook and dry out your food. Second piece of advice, employ staff that know how to cook, know how to serve and know how to deal with complaints.

Went to the Highfield play area for the afternoon, the play area was fine the children enjoyed it. We ordered the mix & match 3 for £14.50 dishes. We ordered some pulled pork tacos from the menu that were priced at £6.29 and when they arrived there were 2 tortillas on the plate and I asked where the filling was as I thought it was coming separate as the tacos looked like it had just a tiny bit of salad in but wondered where the pulled pork was, but apparently it was in the tortilla. I did speak to the manager as it wasn’t value for money at all. They did replace the tacos with a better amount of filling. The bowl of chips were the most value for money but I wouldn’t recommend the food.
