About Meadow Farm Holiday Park
Tucked on the edge of Longton village, this small working farm offers just a handful of fully-serviced gravel pitches – all with electric and water hook-ups – making for a peaceful, family-friendly base to explore Lancashire's coastline and countryside. A dedicated dog park (small fee applies) gives your four-legged friend a proper run-around, though leads are needed around the resident sheep elsewhere on site. The basic facilities – toilet block, shower, washing-up area – keep things straightforward rather than luxurious.
From the gate, footpaths lead straight into the landscape: fifteen minutes on foot brings you to Longton Brickcroft's fishing ponds and wetlands, while the tidal marshes of the Ribble Way lie a short drive away. Follow the estuary out to sweeping St Annes Beach, popular with kite-surfers, or watch for sanderlings and red knots working the mudflats. Longton's pubs, shops and takeaways are a ten-minute stroll when you fancy a break from camp cooking.
