Moortown House is a substantial Georgian property built in 1816, set within parkland near Market Rasen in West Lindsey. The house sleeps 12 across six bedrooms—four with king beds, two with pairs of single beds—and three bathrooms. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included, along with fuel for the open fire.
The ground floor contains a living room with smart TV, a kitchen and dining room equipped for serious cooking, and two bedrooms with a shower room. Upstairs are four further bedrooms and two more bathrooms—one with a bath and shower. An external utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer. The grounds come with a private heated indoor swimming pool (9m by 4.5m), a hot tub for eight, a tennis court, barbecue, firepit, bike store and patio seating. Private parking fits eight cars, and there is an electric charging point. One pet stays free. The property is non-smoking.
This works well for large groups and family gatherings. Brigg, Louth and Lincoln are all nearby for days out, and the surrounding countryside offers scope for walking and cycling. Note that there are three steps in the grounds.

We had an amazing week at Moortown House with family. The pool and hot tub were used a lot during our stay and we had everything we needed for a relaxed week.

A great place for a family celebration. Lovely to be able to all sit around one dinner table to eat. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The tennis court was a little slippery, but we managed our family tournament without any injuries. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing, very peaceful break with friends or family.

We spent the week of new year here with two generations of our family and it was just super. A wonderful way to spend time together after the busy Xmas period. The weather was cold but the house was super warm and we all loved sitting n the lounge with the fire roaring each night. The pool was lovely and warm and the hot tub was a bonus ! It was a lovely property with everything you need and such a beautiful location ! Family ages ranging from 11-60+
