Shipton

Shipton is a three-bedroom cottage arranged entirely on the ground floor, so you walk straight into an open-plan living space with a wood burner, freestanding kitchen, and French doors onto a terrace. All three bedrooms have their own bathrooms—the first has a four-poster bed and direct access outside, while bedrooms two and three each contain two single beds. Everything is on one level, which makes it easy to move around.

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking; electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are all included, and initial logs for the wood burner are provided. You have exclusive use of the whole property with your party of up to six. The grounds feature a terrace, an apple orchard and enclosed garden, and you can request bikes of various sizes direct from the owner. One pet is welcome. No smoking inside.

The cottage sits within a larger holiday complex in West Oxfordshire between Chipping Norton, Stow-on-the-Wold and Burford. Shared facilities available to residents include an indoor heated swimming pool with changing rooms, a games room with pool table and table tennis, a gym, and children's play areas. Arrival is after 16:00 and checkout before 10:00.
