Chipping Norton and the surrounding Cotswolds draw visitors year-round for the rolling stone villages, antique shops and walking routes. Tarn House sits within the grounds of a historic country estate near the town, one of twelve holiday properties dotted across the peaceful landscape. The whole place is yours alone: five bedrooms and five bathrooms mean everyone gets their own space, while a games room, drawing room and dining room provide gathering spots for larger groups.

The kitchen is properly sized for cooking from scratch, and the gardens—front and back—include dining areas and a croquet lawn for outdoor entertaining. There's also a small formal courtyard if you want a quieter corner. One well-behaved dog can come free of charge. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included; smoking is not permitted indoors. The estate grounds give access to a communal indoor swimming pool, gym and spa, plus children's play areas if you're bringing younger family members.

This works well for multi-generational family groups or friends gathering for a long weekend. Arrive after 4pm and depart by 10am. There is parking on site.

Such a lovely place .spoiled by weeds that make place look very untidy .If they where gone it's perfect... Got a lovely looking Nature trail that I couldn't get in to for waist high nettles ..

We stayed in our touring caravan.. It's mainly a static site. Very well maintained site. Children's park, on site pub that serves amazing pizza (can get takeaway). It has a spacious beer garden. The farmer over the road was cutting In the field at 7pm 2 nights in a row that got a bit loud. There's stuff to do in the local area. We visited Skipton castle and local waterfalls.

The touring part of the site is ok, as we stayed there for 2 nights, all hard standing but pitches are quite close together. The toilet block is good and very clean and heated, hot running water was nice too. Would recommend it.

Stayed on a touring pitch. Great location for Skipton. Beautiful site, very peaceful. Absolutely outstanding toilet blocks and showers, heated floors, very clean and perfect hot showers with no timer on, which makes all the difference. The best we have ever had on a touring site. We will definitely return. Smaller pitches in comparison to some others but big enough for us, car parked by pitch fine. Only really small negative and it's wasn't really an issue, we were sited backing on to the bins which were used very early and regularly with a lid that bangs down. I would have imagined it be to be the last pitch of choice but others were empty.
