Treehouses - Sambucus
West Oxfordshire

Sambucus is a treehouse on the Finstock site, reached by 16 steps to the entrance. Inside, everything sits on one level: an open-plan living space with a wood burner at its heart, a dining area, and a kitchen with electric hob. Two bedrooms, each with a king bed, and two bathrooms with shower cubicles. The space has large windows and floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open onto the surrounding woodland. Underfloor heating keeps things warm; wi-fi, bed linen, towels and initial logs for the burner are included.
A decked area extends outside, with access to shared grounds that include woodland and a firepit. The property is set back from others on the retreat. An allocated car parking space is 315 metres away, and an electric charging point is available if needed. Smoking is not permitted. Children under 8 are not suitable for this property.
The treehouse sits in the Oxfordshire countryside between the Cotswolds and Oxford itself. Port Meadow, a flat walk beside the Thames with a pub midway along the towpath, is nearby. The county offers accessible paths and varied things to do within easy reach.
