The Gardens

The exterior retains its original character, while the interior has been opened up and updated with contemporary fittings. Everything is on one level: a combined living, dining and kitchen space with a 32-inch smart TV, a double bedroom, and a shower room with walk-in shower. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric hob, microwave and air fryer—and the essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. One car parking space is available.

This is a rural base for exploring the surrounding countryside and Thetford Forest, which lies just beyond the Norfolk and Suffolk border. The property has a garden with seating and furniture. The location suits couples seeking quiet woodland walks, or anyone wanting access to forest trails and cycling routes without being far from towns. Thetford itself is 6 miles away; the Norfolk coast around an hour's drive; Bressingham Steam Museum and Gardens 20 miles. Smoking is not permitted, but one pet is welcome.
