Beach is quiet and very nice to see . With slow tides and all . But lots of sea weeds are on the shore and also dead crabs , which makes the beach little uncomfortable with bad smell. All other things are very good , parking is on road and very nice .

First time coming here and very happy to say I'd come again. There are parts of the beach with sand and parts with pebbles so if you're looking for a sandy bit keep going. The tide comes up all the way so don't leave your stuff too long, but that was only for a short while and we went to get food before coming back to sit on the beach again. Quite busy the day we went but not over crowded and lots of restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner. Can't argue that for a beach in the UK!

The tide was completely out, a lot of clay, actual beach area is quite narrow with pebbles and sand, when the tide eventually came in it didn't stop, eventually everyone had to get off the beach as it ended up completely submerged, that's nature for you. Lots of food and drink around, places to buy bucket and spade, that kinda thing, water was calm, not the clearest but this ain't the Maldives. 🤷🏿‍♂️

Lovely sandy beach. It does get busy really quick. However, there is a long stretch of the beach but ur not far from the main. Couple of eating drinking places around. Green ground as well as sandy patch for some beach fun. It helps that there are planty cafes that serve some delicious food. Nice ice cream parlours that serve the famous Rossis of Southend ice cream.
