Belah Barn

You step through the door of Belah Barn into a thoughtfully arranged interior that makes immediate sense of the space. The three bedrooms occupy the ground floor—one with a kingsize bed and ensuite shower, another kingsize with ensuite bath, and a third with two singles. A family bathroom serves the layout. Upstairs, the living room and kitchen/dining room take advantage of the first-floor position, with a woodburner warming the sitting space and a full kitchen for self-catering. The essentials—heating, electricity, linen, towels and wi-fi—are included, along with initial logs for the fire. Cots, highchairs and stairgates are available if needed.

Belah Barn sits in open countryside within the Eden Valley, ringed by fells and Pennine views. Barras village lies a mile away; Kirkby Stephen market town is a short drive for shops, pubs and restaurants. The location suits walkers—the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District are within reach. The road to the property crosses cattle grids. At the rear, a lawned garden with seating and a bike store make use of the surroundings. On-site parking accommodates three cars. One well-behaved pet is welcome. No smoking throughout.
