Fell Croft
Westmorland and Furness
Pooley Bridge sits on the northern tip of Ullswater, England's second-longest lake, with the Lake District fells rising behind and the M6 just minutes away. Fell Croft is a single-storey property at the quieter end of the village, far enough from the centre to feel removed but close enough to walk to pubs, restaurants and the waterfront in minutes.
Three bedrooms sleep six: a double with its own bathroom, two singles, and a bunk room. The second bathroom serves the rest of the house. Everything is ground-floor, with a living room centred on a woodburner, a separate dining room, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—oven, hob, dishwasher and washing machine included. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all provided. Parking for three cars sits on the property; the paved garden has furniture and looks out toward the fells.
The lake itself offers sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and steamer cruises. Walking trails range from the low shoreline paths to serious fell hikes like Helvellyn. Dalemain Historic House, Aira Force waterfall and the Alpaca Centre are all within striking distance. Keswick is twenty-five minutes' drive. Smoking is not permitted.
