Gill Barn

You arrive at Gill Barn to find a converted barn with three double or bunk bedrooms spread across two floors, two bathrooms, and a second shower room. The ground floor holds a utility room with washer and dryer, two bedrooms (one double, one with singles and bunks for flexible sleeping), and a bathroom. Upstairs, the living room has a woodburner and entertainment, while the kitchen-diner opens onto dining space with full cooking facilities including a dishwasher. The third bedroom, another double, is also on this floor.

Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering, and initial logs for the woodburner are provided. Outside, an enclosed garden with seating overlooks the property, and there is parking for two cars on site. The barn takes one well-behaved pet. No smoking indoors.

Gill Barn sits in a quiet part of Westmorland and Furness with footpaths and bridleways nearby. Ullswater is five miles away and Haweswater three miles, each with direct access to fell walks. This suits families or groups wanting a base with space to spread out and easy access to the fells.
